Darwinch’s browser SDK changes approved text and measures one browser-reported click goal after explicit permission. A random browser identifier is stored only on the website that uses Darwinch. Darwinch stores a project-scoped pseudonym, assignments, successful exposures, and deduplicated conversions.
Browser measurement
The SDK does not capture input values, passwords, authorization headers, query strings, fingerprints, or session recordings. Global Privacy Control, Do Not Track, and explicit opt-out disable pilot delivery. Darwinch uses website-scoped identity, not cross-site identity, and does not set collector cookies.
Withdrawal and retention
Withdraw permission to restore the original and request deletion of your measurement. If deletion cannot be confirmed, contact the website owner. Raw measurement expires 90 days after enrollment closes. A deletion marker lasts up to 24 hours to block a late assignment from restoring withdrawn data. Identifier-free aggregate results remain until project deletion.
Project deletion removes its configuration, results, measurements, AI content, and history after delivery is revoked and the delivery hostname is removed. Pseudonymous AI budget reservations can remain for up to 32 days so deletion cannot reset spending limits. Deleting a project does not delete your Clerk account.
Accounts, AI, and hosting
Clerk provides account authentication, including email codes and session credentials. In a shared team, other members see your account name and email address in team settings; Darwinch reads them from Clerk when the page loads and does not store them. An email address entered to restrict an invitation is kept only until the invitation is accepted or revoked. The SDK collection limits above do not mean the account service never processes authentication data. Only manually selected, nonsensitive headline or call-to-action text and its hypothesis are sent to Cloudflare Workers AI for optional suggestions.
Cloudflare and Clerk also process operational metadata under their own policies. Darwinch does not provide a regional data residency guarantee. Glowcrumb is a separate optional product; Darwinch does not record sessions.
